So, which format of the SMR will ultimately prevail?

I’m not sure there has to be one way to do any release, whether social or traditional. The discussion, as of right now, only helps improve the foundation for ALL forms of press releases.

Perhaps it’s simply suum cuique, to each his own.

Brian, I have to admit, when I got that invite from Vocus in my inbox, the whole reason I signed up was because of you as speaker. I’m intrigued to hear what you have to say about it.

I’m a big fan of social networking, but I wonder how a social media press release is different from a typical press release. Is it more conversational? Does it render a better ROI? I would think that possibly even the audience reach would be different than say a release on PR Newswire, etc.

Oh–and besides now following you on Twitter, I’ve added you to my blogroll.

Events like this should not be passed up. It’s an opportunity to learn and to hear what other people have to say. It’s a pool of like-minded individuals and creates an atmosphere for sharing insights with one another. This is one learning environment that is sure to thrive since the issue is one that evokes a lot of reactions from people.

Sadly, despite being registered, I had a last-minute conflict and couldn’t attend the live webcast. I didn’t receive an email with an on-demand option following the event – do you know if one is available for those of us who couldn’t make it?
