I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time studying the state and future of finance, banking and retail. Behind the scenes, I’ve spent time with several national and global finance companies/banks as well as several retailers all looking to understand the connected customer and their expectations and preferences when it comes to money, banking and shopping.
It’s with great pleasure, and a little bit of nervousness, that I announce the official availability of my new book, The End of Business as Usual.

Twitter too, is gaining velocity in a direction many skeptics didn’t think possible, the ability to monetize the stream. Twitter is set to introduce a new ad-powered program, @earlybird – a service that appears to emulate the daily deals powering services such as Groupon with the direct to consumer link proved by @DellOutlet.
According to news makers, analysts, and experts and their constituents, the sky is falling. You can’t run away or hide from this very grim reality.
While we are in throes of a major financial crisis, it is during the most difficult of times when character is truly tested and defined.
