🤖 @NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang said, physical AI is having its "ChatGPT" moment. By 2035, we will be working and living with 1 billion physical AI robots. Physical AI is the next big leap, because it’s an entirely new workforce, not just another AI model or tool.

The real breakthrough is more than the robots… it’s also the world models that train them. When machines can learn the rules of the real world, space, motion, risk, constraints, “pilots” become transformative.

So yes, we’ll see dark factories (where autonomous systems run without light or active human oversight on premise)…we already are. What about dark offices? Yes, eventually. We’ll see routine office work 24/7, while humans move up the stack into judgment, creativity, and leadership.

Watch the clip. Then ask: What would you reimagine first for human-machine collaboration, the work, or the org chart, or both? What would you pilot that could change the course of the future of how you work and the outcomes and value you can now realize?

Please meet my new friend Maps Maponyane (@mmaponyane). He’s a South African entrepreneur, creative leader, and philanthropist. He’s also a TV presenter, actor, investor, and if you look at his Insta, you’d also describe him as a world traveler, model, and someone with impeccable taste and style. After spending time with him in Gauteng, South Africa, at the @standardbankgrp conference, I’ll remember him as someone who’s deeply kind, generous, and thoughtful. He’s a deep thinker, an incredible presenter, and someone so magnetic, that we became fast friends.

On stage, we explored the future of AI and its impact on humanity. We also reimagined a new world of experiences that can be created with AI to make life better for people. It was the more personal and honest conversations we had the next sitting outside, lakeside at the beautiful @irenecountryhotel, that I won’t soon forget. We shared childhood struggles, passions, challenges facing the world today, the beauty of Africa, and how to use AI and technology to make the world, and people, better.

The day after we spent time together, I flew back to California to celebrate Valentine’s Day. And Maps went on stage at @tedxalacademy in Jo’berg to inspire students, educators, and leaders, how to overcome personal life’s obstacles to explore their frequency, find their vibration, and move forward with their unique rhythm.

I have a lifelong friend in Maps, I believe. More so, I left inspired, and lucky to have met someone whom I’m sure will continue to inspire me, and many others around the world. 🙏
