Somewhere between Summer and Fall, I spent an unforgettable moment with Andrea Koppel. The good news is that we recorded our conversation.

If the surname sounds familiar, it’s because Andrea is the daughter of iconic broadcast journalist and host of Nightline Ted Koppel. Andrea is a force of her own however. Among many things, she’s the host of the uber-popular Time4Coffee podcast. It’s a show dedicated to students and entrepreneurs where “caffeinated career conversations” guide listeners in their studies and career pursuits.

I joined Andrea on episode #29. We talked about how a Sociology degree can be a big help if you’re interested in breaking into the tech field.

Initially, we focused on A.I. and why social sciences and creativity are more important in an era of machines and robots than ever. As time went on, I started to share a more personal side of my work, my challenges with technology and also what I can only say is a preview of my next big thing (click here to be among the first to know).

Please take a moment to listen to the episode.

Andrea is a wonderful and engaging host. I felt like I could share things over a cup of coffee with her that I usually reserved over glasses of champagnes with my most intimate of friends.

  1. The more you understand your customers and clients down to a science, the closer you’ll become to understanding those wants and needs you can address and close to raise conversion and client trust to an unimaginable scale.
A.I is having it’s time as of recently, but for how long we’ll have to see. As some companies utilize it incorrectly, they bring themselves farther away from their customers which is the exact opposite affect they desired.
If you’re gonna do something, do it right!
